Post-16 Application Evening

On 4^th November 2021 it is our post-16 application evening and it is vital that you attend if your child is in Year 10 or Year 11. It is not guaranteed that every school leaver will be accepted on their chosen course with their chosen provider at post-16, as competition for places across the city is extremely high. Therefore, all pupils and parents must have the highest quality advice of how to ensure applications have the best chance of success.

The aim of the evening is to:

• Ensure you are fully informed about your child’s choices of education, employment or training once they leave Dean Trust Ardwick at the end of Year 11.
• Understand the application process for local sixth forms, colleges and apprenticeships.
• Allow you the opportunity to speak to representatives from local colleges, sixth forms and apprenticeship providers so that all of your questions can be answered.
