Dear Parents and Carers,
Due to a spike in Covid infection rates in Manchester we have been advised that we need to cancel all face to face transition events. This means that unfortunately, we are no longer able to invite Year 6 pupils into Dean Trust Ardwick on the 7th or 8th of July.
Instead, we will be hosting an online Transition Evening for parents and pupils on Thursday 15 July from 5 – 6pm.
During this event we will share with you all of the key information that you need for September. This will include an address from myself and key members of the Year 7 team and an introduction to your child’s form tutor. It will also include an online tour of the school!
We will write to you again on Tuesday 13th July with further information about how to join the event online. In the meantime, if you have any questions please contact us on admin@deantrustardwick.co.uk
We are hugely disappointed that we are unable to offer the face to face transition days because we were very much looking forward to meeting our new Year 7 cohort. However, we are excited to be welcoming many of the year group to DTA in August to our Year 7 Summer School. If you have not yet signed up for Summer School it is not too late! Please complete this Summer School Form if you would like your child to attend.
