Support for families in financial hardship

Since September 2020 the school has supported our families who are most in need in many ways. Firstly, from a very kind donation from the Manchester United Foundation, we were able to offer school uniforms to over 65 children and young people, including purchasing Kickers shoes for them to feel ready and prepared for their return to school following the first national lockdown. The money also helped with purchasing of laptops and food hampers. At Christmas the school community came together and issued over 2,000 food items to our community with Year 10 prefects taking the lead of creating parcels. Alongside this, Manchester United donated over 1,000 meals which were collected over the Christmas Holidays, with many staff coming in during their festive breaks to support with collection and distribution. A huge effort to ensure our families are thriving at this time.
