Dear Parent/Carer,
Further to our earlier correspondence please see below the times that pupils in the following forms should attend school for their lateral flow test on Monday.
Key Information:
- Pupils do not need to wear school uniform to come to school for their test.
- They should enter school at the front of school via the gate that leads to the path to the New Dining Room.
- The testing will take place in the Main Hall.
- Pupils will only need to be onsite for approximately 15 minutes.
- Pupils should then return home to continue with their remote learning.
- Pupils should register for their test and record their results using the NHS app when they get home after their test; they will be issued with a card with a barcode on it so they are able to do this.
- School will only contact pupils in the event of a positive result.
- If you do not hear from school within 90 minutes of the test time then the test can be recorded as negative.
- Mock examinations will begin on Tuesday 22 June. Pupils should arrive at school in full school uniform at 8.30am at the back gate unless they have had a positive result or have been asked to isolate through track and trace.
Many thanks for your support and patience as we continue to make difficult decisions under pressure to keep our community safe.
Ms S. Finlay
