DTA’s First Community Iftar

On Friday 24^th March we were delighted to host our very first DTA Community Iftar, organised by Miss Sayeed and Mr Musa’ad. Many of our pupils are observing the month of Ramadan and fasting so on Friday, we invited some of our non-Muslim staff to have a go at fasting too. We invited our parents and our pupils to come and break our fast together. We had recitation and readings from Hassan, Rizwan, and Zia, with Asim doing the call to prayer (Y10). It was lovely to see so many members of our school community come together in the evening and it was such a blessed event. Big thank you to Al Jazeera for providing the Iftar for everyone!
