World AIDS Day Fundraising Update

Home / News / World AIDS Day Fundraising Update

Following our World AIDs Day fundraiser, we have been contacted by the Community Fundraiser, James!

“Thank you so much for your fundraising of £292.50 to National AIDS Trust from the support of everyone at Ardwick School – it means a lot to us. By fundraising, you’re helping to end new HIV transmissions by 2030, but we must also make sure nobody is left behind with our progress. We’re committed to ending HIV stigma and securing rights for all people living with HIV.

Your fundraising will make a massive difference. It will help support people experiencing discrimination, fight for HIV rights and educate people on HIV in the UK so that we can combat HIV stigma. With your help, we will continue to lobby decision makers to improve HIV-related policy; challenge stigmatising news stories in the press; help to fight isolation felt by many people living with HIV and much more.

As you may know, we’re completely independent, and we can only continue to do our vital work with the generous support of people like you and everyone else who supported your fundraising.

Thank you again for your support and I’m really looking forward to working with you this year for World AIDS Day!”
