Dear Parents and Carers,
I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to attend the Year 10 GCSE Welcome Evening on Thursday 16th September. The evening will start at 4pm and finish at 5.30pm. The evening will consist of a presentation and 4 informative sessions.
This is an important event which is designed to ensure you are well informed about the expectations and challenges ahead as your child has now fully begun his or her GCSE and vocational programme of study.
During the evening, you will be provided with an overview of each subject’s content and, most significantly, strategies which you can use to support your child’s learning and revision throughout the course of the next 2 years, aiding them to achieve their outcomes.
Please do take the time to come to this event as we feel it is vital to ensure our pupils are as fully supported as possible both at school and at home.
