Dean Trust Ardwick has been awarded multiple Rainbow Flag Awards, recognising the schools’ ethos of respect and tolerance and progressive attitude towards LGBT+ education. The Proud Trust has commended our efforts to provide and inclusive curriculum, to have skilled teachers, to both embrace and challenge pupil voice and in having supportive parents, carers and governors. We will continue to collect evidence for more awards and to renew our current accolades in the future with the help of pupils, staff and families. The Rainbow Flag Awards are symbolic of our LGBT+ community in school and in Manchester, being Proud to Belong.
